Proposed Placement Of Up To 40, 000, 000 New Ordinary Shares Of HK$0.20 Each In The Capital Of Willas-Array Electronics (Holdings) Limited ("The Placement")
Further to the announcement on 16 October 2003, the Board of Directors of Willas-Array Electronics (Holdings) Limited (the "Company", and together with the subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce that pursuant to the Placement Agreement which the Company had entered with G. K. Goh Stockbrokers Pte Ltd (the "Placement Agent") on 16 October 2003, the Placement Agent has subscribed or procured subscription for 40,000,000 new ordinary shares of HK$0.20 each (the "New Shares") in the capital of the Company at the placement price of S$0.28 for each New Share.
The completion of the Placement is conditional upon, inter alia, the approval of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the "SGX-ST") for the listing and quotation of the New Shares on the Official List of the SGX-ST.
