35. INDEPENDENT AUDITORS
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Hong Kong (“Deloitte Hong Kong”) was appointed as the independent
auditors of the Company (the “Independent Auditors”) on July 31, 2014 to fill the vacancy arising
from the retirement of Deloitte & Touche LLP, Singapore until the conclusion of the AGM held on
July 30, 2015. Deloitte Hong Kong was then re-appointed as the Independent Auditors until the
conclusion of the 2016 AGM.
The Board, which concurs with the Audit Committee’s recommendation, has proposed the
nomination of Deloitte Hong Kong for re-appointment as the Independent Auditors at the 2016
AGM.
Deloitte Hong Kong have expressed their willingness to accept the re-appointment.
Save as disclosed above, there have been no changes of the Independent Auditors for the
preceding three years.
